Program Guidelines

Listed below are the pre-conditioning guidelines to follow to qualify your stock for the Per4mance Verified™  programs. 

Weaned Calf Protocols:

 

* Calves are weaned for 45 days prior to shipping

* Calves received the following vaccinations (Per4mance Verified ™ recommends following Pfizer’s WeanVAC® program)

                                - 7-Way clostridial/blackleg (with booster 2-6 weeks later)

                                - 4-Way Respiratory (with booster 2-6 weeks later)

                                - Mannheimia haemolytica

                                - Haemophillus somnus (optional)

                                - All vaccinations administered at least 14 days prior to shipping

* Internal/External parasite control (Dectomax if using WeanVAC® )

* Tag cattle with approved EID tag, record information in CattleLog™ and complete Per4mance Verified™  affidavits

* Castrate and dehorn

* Feed 30 lbs of Cellarate-ORE CPR (from Loomix) or 90 grams of Cell-rate™  during 45 day weaning period (provided by Loomix® or your local feed supplier)

* Feed 7 mg/head/day Availa-4 from Zinpro (available in Loomix products) during 45 day weaning period

Non-Weaned Calf Protocols

 

* Calves must be 90 days of age prior to shipment

* Calves receive the following vaccinations (Per4mance Verified™ recommends following Pfizers PreVAC program):

                - 7-way clostridial/blackleg

                - 4-way respiratory

                - Mannheimia heamolytica

                - Haemophilus somnus (Optional)

                - Last round of vaccinations to be administered at least 2 weeks prior to shipment

* Internal/External parasite control (Optional)

* Tag cattle with approved EID tag, record information in CattleLog™ and complete              

                   Per4mance Verified affidavits

* Castrate and dehorn

*  Feed 30 lbs of Cellarat-ORE CPR (from Loomix) or 90 grams of Cell-rate during last 60      days prior to shipment (provided by Loomix® or your local feed supplier)

* Feed 7 mg/head/day Availa-4® from Zinpro (available in Loomix® products) during last

                   60 days prior to shipment
